The apostle Paul wrote to the church in Philippi while he was in prison. Prison. In Philippians 4:10-20 Paul is sharing his appreciation for his support from the church. The more I read those verses the more it resonates with me.

I need the church. I cannot do what I do without financial support. The longer I am dependent on the support of the church the more deeply I pray Philippians 4:18-19 over you.

"But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you provided--a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
